A Surprising Series
I have started DVRing Ghosthunters on SCIFI. I started watching it about a year ago after a co-worker told me about the show. This new season has started out pretty big. The episode on 10-4 was one of the best episodes I have seen. They caught some really intense EVP and it gave me goosebumps. Ghosthunters is definitely worth making an effort to watch.

Is it just me...
I watched Heros last night and got annoyed by the end of the show. There were so many freakin commercials. It seemed like every five minutes they were fading to black and showing an add for Bionic Woman, or Jerry Seinfeld's new Bee movie.
DVRs have spoiled me, live TV sucks.
Oh wait, it might have something to do with NBC being able to charge $330,000 for a 30sec ad. (source)

CSI meets Mythbusters
Last nights episode of CSI was good. I really liked the fact that they used a Myth from Mythbusters to prove what happened to a victim.

Big Bang = BIG HIT
I LOVE Big Bang on CBS. I think the actors they chose to play the "geeks" play the parts to a T. I have found myself laughing out loud during this show, which is a feat because I get distracted by my 2 year old regularly. The female lead played by Kaley Cuoco, is a great role. She isn't portrayed as an idiot, she just doesn't understand the guys often. The comment about the Superman Marathon had me laughing out loud. It reminded me of a conversation with my wife. Overall I hope CBS doesn't screw this one up and signs this show for the long haul.
Chuck.....a disappointment
I have watched all of the episodes of Chuck on NBC, and I have decided I do not like this show. It can't decide if it wants to be a comedy or a Bond / spy / save the world sitcom. The previews for this show looked great, but as with most shows the previews are the best part.
Unfortunately Chuck will be removed from my dvr list.

Survivor Recap
Just a few comments about Survivor. The temple that the contestants were invited to, was beautiful. They are camping in the Lake of a Thousand Islands, I think.
The contestants that show up wearing high heels, or as one girl put it "I don't have a bra on" should be kicked off right away.
The young contestants need to figure out that you don't kick off the Farmer until after he has built housing. This is probably one of the biggest mistakes that team could have made.

Kid Nation...Good TV or Bad Idea
Last night we watched the much hyped Kid Nation on CBS. I was not sure what to expect when the show started. I found it interesting that parents would allow their kids, some of which are 8 years old, to take part in this relatively unknown TV experiment. It was heart breaking to see the 8 and 9 year olds in tears because they missed their parents. It also irritated me to see the older kids 14yrs old (I think) act like total punks. Although I must say I was surprised when given the choice between Porta Potties and a TV, the kids picked the Port-a-Potties.
My best explanation of the show after the first episode is Survivor meets Elementary School.
